Ingredients:

Chicken - 1 kg

Coriander leaves

Curry Leaves

Black Pepper Seeds-7 or

Shajeera

Onion - 1

Green Chillies - 4

Cardamom seeds - 3 to
4
9.
Pudeena leaves
10.
Menthi Leaves
11.
Coriander powder - 2
tablespoons

Garam masala powder - 1
tea spoon
For preparation of
masala:
- Cardamom
- Cinnamom - 2
- Cloves - 6
- Onion 1/4 of full
- Dry coconut grate - 100 gms
- Chopped coriander leaves
- Ginger-25 gms
- Garlic-10-15 cloves
Preparation:
·
Put a pan or kadai on
gas stove.
·
Pour oil into pan and
let it heat for few seconds.
·
Add Cardamom seeds and
shajeera.
·
Again add, curry leaves,
coriander leaves, pudeena leaves and menthi leaves.
·
Mean while, go for making masala in mixing
grinder.
·
Add onions, chillies
into pan and let them fry until onions turn golden brown colour.
·
Later, add washed
chicken pieces into pan and add turmeric powder, salt and mix it.
·
Put the lid over the pan
and leave it until all water comes from chicken.
·
After that, add chilli
powder, mix it and keep the lid and wait for 5 - 6 min.
·
Then add masala paste
and fry it and keep the lid.
·
Finally add garam masala
powder and some water (if needed) and keep for cooking of chicken pieces for
15-20min.
·
Serve the hot and spicy
chicken curry.
Tips:
- If chicken is prepared in pressure cooker then 3- 4
whistles are required to cook chicken pieces.
